Contempt of court is a behaviour that shows
lack of respect for the authority of a court
of law, such as disobeying a court order,
breach of an injunction, or improper use of
legal documents. Behaviour that disrupts,
prejudices, or interferes with court
proceedings either inside or outside the
courtroom may also be classed as contempt.
